Dr Ketaki Sharma (Ket) is an experienced paediatrician who is committed to listening to caregivers and providing tailored, family-centred support.
Ket's clinical interests include:

- Newborn and infant health concerns;
- Reflux and feeding difficulties;
- Growth and weight monitoring;
- Developmental delays;
- Suspected food allergies (skin prick testing available on-site, if clinically required);
- Eczema;
- Hayfever;
- Immunisations;
- Bedwetting, constipation, and other common childhood conditions.
Other Roles
Ket also has special interests in public health and clinical vaccinology, and is a Staff Specialist Paediatrician at:
- the Children’s Hospital at Westmead (Specialist Immunisation Service), and
- the National Centre for Immunisation Research and Surveillance (NCIRS)
In addition to clinical duties her work involves:
- developing national clinical guidelines;

- contributing to global health projects, including collaborations with the World Health Organization
Ket enjoys teaching and is a Conjoint Clinical Lecturer in Child and Adolescent Health at the University of Sydney. She also regularly delivers educational updates for GPs and other specialists.
Training and Memberships
Ket obtained her medical degree (MBBS) and a Master of Public Health (MPH) at the University of New South Wales. She undertook specialist paediatric training through the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
Her commitment to evidence-based practice and lifelong learning ensures she stays informed of changes in clinical guidelines. She is an Associate Member of the Australasian Society for Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA) and a member of the Australian Paediatric Society and Australasian Society for Developmental Paediatrics.
Beyond her professional training, Ket has two children, one of whom has multiple food allergies, eczema, and hayfever. This lived experience informs her empathetic, practical approach to supporting families facing similar challenges.
